Work Environment

You will work onsite at our outpatient office in Arlington, Virginia, where our welcoming atmosphere and collaborative spirit cultivate a supportive environment for both staff and patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that encourages work-life balance while ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to each patient, ensuring their unique rehabilitation goals and needs are effectively addressed.
• Maintain a reasonable patient load to dedicate sufficient time and attention to the treatment of each individual.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic care, utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques to aid in recovery.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility and reduce reliance on medications.
• Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities.
• Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific requirements of patients, fostering their overall well-being.
• Use evidence-based interventions to provide personalized, effective care, and continuously assess treatment effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to maintain clear and comprehensive patient records.
• Motivate and encourage patients through their recovery journey, supporting their commitment to regaining autonomy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, adapting strategies to ensure optimal recovery paths.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation. Many of our clients are active individuals who seek to restore their performance capacity, whether they are athletes or simply looking to maintain their daily function. Your role will be integral in guiding these patients through individualized recovery programs, tailored to their movements and activity levels.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exhibit a high level of proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and possess exceptional skills in developing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation and patient management is essential.
• Stay updated with the latest research-backed physical therapy practices to ensure top-quality care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse range of patients, adapting treatment plans for varied demographics and abilities.
• Expertise in sports medicine could be advantageous given the active nature of our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
