Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Hollywood, Florida, which is designed to facilitate a positive healing atmosphere. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing a structured yet dynamic work routine. You will enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment that encourages continued learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, providing dedicated attention to each client's rehabilitation process.
• Utilize your background in orthopedic physical therapy to implement effective treatment strategies that maximize patient outcomes.
• Administer cost-effective therapies designed to improve range of motion and mobility, while significantly minimizing reliance on medication.
• Foster an environment of encouragement by motivating patients through their treatment journey, helping them regain autonomy in their daily lives.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs based on the unique requirements of each patient.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like WebPT for documenting sessions and tracking patient outcomes.
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by educating patients about improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored therapeutic exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with a diverse range of outpatient clients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will play an integral role in transforming patients' lives by using a client-centered approach that focuses on both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in Florida, with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is strongly preferred.
• A background in providing a spectrum of therapeutic interventions and treatment methodologies will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
