Flexibility First Physical Therapy is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our rehabilitation center in McLean, Virginia. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our contemporary rehabilitation center. Our facility boasts modern treatment rooms and areas designed for individual and group therapy. You will be part of a close-knit team that includes two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain a caseload that allows for one-on-one patient interaction, ensuring that each session is focused and effective.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' mobility and functional performance, with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
• Prescribe and guide patients in executing personalized exercise programs aimed at rehabilitating injuries and improving mobility.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Document all therapy sessions accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Educate patients and their families on prevention strategies and lifestyle modifications to foster health and wellness.
• Foster motivation and encouragement throughout the treatment process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on orthopedic outpatient cases, providing care to patients suffering from a variety of conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding patients from their initial assessments through to their rehabilitation goals. Our patient population primarily includes active individuals with private insurance, ranging from amateur athletes to seniors seeking to maintain their functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• A proven track record in utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
