Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through preliminary interviews to evaluate the emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs of clients.

• Document and maintain detailed clinical records from the initial consultation through discharge to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, families, and groups that promote recovery, using evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to achieve optimal client outcomes.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adapt treatment strategies as necessary, and document changes in response to therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Provide follow-up care for clients transitioning into inpatient settings and coordinate with hospital staff when necessary.

• Educate and support caregivers on managing mental health challenges, fostering an informed family approach to recovery.

• Utilize crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring clients’ safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and require tailored approaches that respect their unique cultural contexts. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their challenges, gain coping skills, and achieve their desired mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in a mental health counseling role.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems like AVATAR to document and manage client information efficiently.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health conditions, including co-occurring diagnoses, addiction disorders, and their treatment modalities.

• Familiarity with guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to ensure adherence to best practices.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a compassionate tone to foster therapeutic relationships.

• Interpersonal skills that promote trust and rapport with clients and team members alike.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
