Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to address the specific needs of clients.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing a warm orientation to the outpatient services and assisting them and their families in understanding the treatment process.

• Document patient interactions meticulously, ensuring timely completion of progress notes and that each note accurately reflects the patient’s progress towards established treatment goals.

• Monitor and report any changes in patient behavior and escalate concerns when necessary, utilizing crisis management skills as appropriate.

• Advocate for services and resources on behalf of clients, actively contributing to their therapeutic journey and overall well-being.

• Engage with fellow team members in regular case reviews, collaborating to adjust treatment plans and enhance patient outcomes.

• Manage your schedule effectively, adhering to organizational procedures which prioritize client needs while ensuring your workload is manageable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including adults, children, and families, addressing various mental health challenges. Your experience in providing marriage and family therapy will allow you to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, enhancing their ability to cope with life’s difficulties and improve their interpersonal relationships. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.
