Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients presenting with various psychiatric needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and appropriate intervention.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans while participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure collaborative care delivery.
\n
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based practices that align with clients’ treatment goals.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records in compliance with state and NCQA regulations, documenting clients' progress and adjustments made to treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to monitor, evaluate, and manage clients' needs, including screenings for psychotropic medications when applicable.
\n
• Supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors if eligible for supervision.

• Engage clients' family members by providing education and support to enhance treatment adherence and understanding of mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The expected clientele includes adults and children experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues. You will address a wide variety of conditions, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychiatric conditions requiring support. By utilizing telehealth methodologies, you will make mental health services more accessible to clients who may struggle to attend in-person appointments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a community health clinic or similar mental health setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology to effectively deliver virtual therapy sessions.
