This position is based in our outpatient office located in Metuchen, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions employing a range of techniques, including exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, providing clear documentation of the treatment received and outcomes achieved.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures, home exercise programs, and the use of assistive devices for enhanced mobility and independence.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy by attending workshops and engaging in continuing education opportunities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for each patient, contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions when appropriate.
• Participate in internal meetings to enhance team cohesion and productivity, sharing insights and solutions regarding patient care and administrative processes.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from injuries, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. You will provide critical support to patients with various diagnoses, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and therapeutic goals. Your work will directly impact their recovery journey and overall well-being, helping them achieve greater mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on compliance with local regulations and ongoing credentialing.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Computer literacy, including the ability to navigate electronic health records systems and documentation software.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.
• Current CPR Certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Completion of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program will be considered an asset.
• Experience with innovative therapeutic practices and patient engagement techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
