Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including obtaining comprehensive health histories and performing physical assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Deliver preventive health services such as well visits, immunizations, and screenings to ensure patient health and identify potential issues early.
• Diagnose and manage acute and complex pain conditions, developing tailored treatment regimens that may include medication management, therapeutic interventions, and referrals to specialists.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, guiding necessary follow-up actions based on results to maintain a high standard of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate care plans and enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and the management of chronic pain conditions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current, active licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits
