Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients experiencing pain, including a thorough review of their medical history, physical examinations, and psychosocial evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans that incorporate both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, educating patients on available treatment options.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and lab work, to inform clinical decision-making and follow up on the results promptly.
• Provide preventive health care through routine check-ups, screenings, and immunizations while ensuring documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with external specialists for referrals and consultations as necessary to offer comprehensive and holistic care to patients.
• Champion health education and promote lifestyle modifications that contribute to overall wellness and pain management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• An active and valid Physician Assistant license in New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably with a focus on pain management or a related specialty.
• Strong assessment skills to identify and evaluate multifaceted patient health issues.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management or orthopedics is highly desired.
• Knowledge of interdisciplinary collaboration and integrative treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with current pain management guidelines and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Be Well Primary Health Care Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , supplemented by performance bonuses.
