Sales Development Representative (SDR) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule sales appointments for the sales manager;
- Exhibit initiative and demonstrate the ability to function independently. Have a passion for customer service;
- Contribute ideas to help improve Amper’s marketing and distribution strategy;
- Develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads;
- Reliably manage communication with prospective customers;
- Create targeted customer profiles, accounts, and contacts;
- Establish contact to prospects and provide them with information about our solution;
- Prospect for new clients by researching markets and calling/emailing businesses;
- Push to go above and beyond quotas;
- Work with Marketing team to streamline current processes for cold and warm leads;
- Identify decision-makers and establish meetings;
- Manage and monitor your work using Salesforce and other sales tools and technology;
- Qualify inbound leads and advance them to the next step in our sales cycle;
- Understand and communicate the full sales cycle, from building awareness and generating leads to communicating Ambra’s value proposition;
- Source and qualify opportunities in various manufacturing verticals.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with selling over the phone or using online tools;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent customer service experience;
- Cybersecurity background preferred;
- 1+ year of proven excellence in sales development, inside sales and/or sales;
- Tech Savvy: You can computer with the best of them;
- Articulate with strong business acumen;
- Strong understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures;
- Working knowledge of CRM (preferably Hubspot);
- Good working knowledge of the Internet and social media and its influence on business today;
- Perfect grammar and excellent writing skills;
- Experienced with GSuite products, MS Office;
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive sales environment;
- High level of interest in the IoT space and the manufacturing industry;
