Sales Development Representative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cold outreach via email and phone calls;
- Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects both over the phone and e-mail;
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Product and Customer Success to facilitate new messaging, programs, campaigns, and offerings;
- You will ensure all inbound marketing leads are followed up with and each lead is given the appropriate level of attention to drive their evaluation;
- Work with Salesforce CRM to maintain strong organization in lead nurturing alongside maintaining data excellence within Salesforce CRM;
- Act as the subject matter expert on Shareablee product offerings/solution;
- Set appointments for Account Executives;
- Effectively partner and work across sales team;
- Document every touchpoint with customer and prospect database via Salesforce.com;
- Maps Enterprise, Mid-Enterprise and SMB accounts, identifying IT decision makers and setting up appointments for all sales representatives;
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quota;
- Prospect into cold accounts and warm leads at some of the largest marketing organizations;
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the BrightEdge technology, industry trends, and competition;
- Manage and document all activity via cadence and CRM tools;
- Accessing C-Level, Director level contacts within customer accounts and target prospects.
Requirements:
- Must be able to constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office productivity machinery;
- Strong conflict management and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas;
- Ability to quickly adopt sales related technologies;
- The ability to proactively engage new clients and customers through email, phone and face to face;
- International company with opportunities to transfer abroad;
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree or better;
- The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills;
- Ability to use Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other on-line tools effectively;
- An innate ability to extract information and business requirement from prospects;

- 2-3 years of sales/lead gen/market development experience;
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
- 1-2 years of sales experience, digital marketing preferred;
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Contrast’s value via the phone.
