Full Time Physiatrist Needed

Springleaf Healthcare & PT Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The work setting is an outpatient office located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, where you'll collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals dedicated to enhancing each patient's therapeutic journey. Our office is equipped with cutting-edge therapeutic tools and resources, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages continuous learning and professional development. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

Develop and implement customized therapy plans to prevent disability, relieve pain, and enhance muscle function for each patient in alignment with their personal capabilities.

Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to established care plans and treatment protocols.

Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests and analyses.

Review clients' home environments to recommend modifications that promote their independence and rehabilitation.

Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and other treatments according to physicians' prescriptions.

Fit and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, and provide detailed recommendations to physicians as necessary.

Regularly document and maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Educate patients and their families about therapy methods, equipment use, and home-based rehabilitation strategies.

Our services primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, including those with joint replacements, fractures, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. You will play a crucial role in facilitating their recovery and enhancing their quality of life.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

A current and valid PT licensure in good standing for the state of New Jersey.

A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to travel to patients' homes when necessary.

A strong commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and patient engagement.

While one (1) year of experience in an acute care or home care setting is preferred, we welcome recent graduates eager to bring fresh perspectives to patient care.
