Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address individual patient goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating one-on-one attention for each session.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each patient's specific circumstances, focused on improving movement and functionality.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques and approaches.
• Design customized wellness and fitness programs to promote long-term health and rehabilitation.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment, fostering their capability to maintain an active lifestyle.
• Document patient care services in detail, ensuring compliance and clarity regarding treatment progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance comprehensive patient care, including consultations as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making adjustments to care plans based on patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals who are eager to regain their functionality and return to their desired activities in life. The majority of our clients are covered by private medical insurance, allowing for more focused and comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the New Jersey Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least one year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in patient evaluation and developing individualized treatment plans in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate patients.
• Familiarity with current trends in orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
