Work Environment

Located in the beautiful Clearwater, Florida, our outpatient clinic features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that promote an atmosphere of healing and wellness. The work environment is characterized by teamwork and collaboration, enabling therapists to share expertise and approaches in patient care. Our scheduled hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities to establish baseline data for treatment plans.

Design and implement individualized physical therapy programs, utilizing various techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure personalized attention to each individual's therapy and wellness needs, adapting care strategies as required.

Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and strength while educating patients on maintaining optimal health and wellness.

Manage documentation and records using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure compliance and accuracy in clinical records.

Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on real-time feedback and patient response.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and sports trainers, to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.

Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Deliver educational workshops for patients and community groups on injury prevention, physical fitness, and wellness strategies.

Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in physical therapy to continuously improve care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients served at Corehab come from diverse backgrounds and encompass a wide range of ages and physical conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and general mobility issues. Our commitment to individualized care ensures each patient receives treatment tailored to their specific challenges and goals, enhancing their recovery journey.

Qualifications

A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

Possession of an active state license as a Physical Therapist, free of sanctions or any disciplinary actions.

Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.

Proficient in using electronic medical records software with a focus on WebPT for documentation.

Adept in contemporary physical therapy methods supported by current research and practice.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.

Experience working with diverse patient populations, particularly in sports medicine or rehabilitation.

Strong communication skills and a proven ability to motivate and educate patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
