Must-Have:

• 12 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Ability to float to care for the same patient population if needed.
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with an acceptable score.

Description:
Registered Nurse position in the Step Down unit.
Potential to float to other units to provide care for a similar patient population.
Rotating shifts include nights and days.
Shifts may vary based on operational needs.
PCU or progressive care experience preferred but not required.
All travelers must work at least every other holiday.
Background checks will be reviewed; any open cases will disqualify a candidate.
Candidates with license issues will not be accepted.
Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements; all other travelers must comply.
Completion of pre-employment drug screening is needed within the required timeframe.
Extensions may be possible for candidates who meet the criteria.
Competency requirements must be met annually for continuous contract nurses.
Modules required for competency will vary based on specialty and need.
Annual modules will have specific billable hours associated with them.
