Physical Therapist - Therapy - Full-Time

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at White River PT Services, your responsibilities will include:

Developing individualized physical therapy treatment plans focused on restoring muscle function, relieving pain, and preventing disabilities.
Overseeing the implementation of therapy plans by physical therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with prescribed methods and safety standards.
Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities such as traction and massage to facilitate recovery.
Adjusting and fitting orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Keeping thorough clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, in compliance with OASIS guidelines.
Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic client care planning and evaluation.
Educating clients and their families on exercise regimens, therapeutic equipment usage, and overall wellness practices.
Completing regular assessments of client progress and adapting care plans based on observations and outcomes.
Mentoring and supervising physical therapy assistants in providing quality care in alignment with state regulations.
Your work will primarily involve working with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will support clients of all ages, tailoring interventions to individual needs while emphasizing rehabilitation goals that promote independence and functionality. The patient-centered approach ensures that therapy is not only about physical healing but also about enhancing patients' emotional and psychological well-being during their recovery journey.
A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in acute care or home health settings, as required by law.
Valid driver's license and automobile insurance essential for traveling between client locations.
Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or home health setting.
Familiarity with treatment modalities specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation protocols.
A demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team while advocating for effective patient care.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental and vision coverage, pharmacy benefits, and more. Employees can also participate in a flexible spending account.
