Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Consulting with patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their physical conditions and symptoms through detailed discussions and assessments.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and articulating clear treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
• Teaching patients effective therapeutic exercise techniques to enhance recovery and mobility.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as massage and electrical stimulation to promote tissue healing and alleviate pain.
• Guiding and assisting patients in utilizing assistive devices like wheelchairs and walkers to facilitate safe mobility.
• Maintaining accurate patient records to track treatment progress and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Providing expert advice to patients and families on in-home treatment options and lifestyle modifications to support continued recovery.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapist license to practice in the state of California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• A proficient command of word processing and computer skills for maintaining patient documentation.
• An adaptable, highly flexible mindset to swiftly respond to diverse patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, preference will be given to those with at least two years of experience in the field of physical therapy, particularly those with experience in outpatient settings. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial.
