Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate clients' trauma history and current mental health needs.

• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate client progress by encouraging the development of coping strategies through therapeutic modalities, while ensuring a safe and trusting environment during sessions.
\n
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate integrated care and treatment approaches for clients experiencing crises.
\n
• Provide real-time emotional support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and support for their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team discussions, and ongoing professional development initiatives aimed at refining trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices regarding trauma therapy, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in implementing treatment approaches tailored specifically to meet the diverse needs of trauma survivors, guiding them towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a similar mental health setting, preferred.
\n
• Substantial knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.
\n
• Ability to operate effectively under stress and manage high-pressure scenarios calmly.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant software applications.
\n
• A team-oriented mindset, capable of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams for the benefit of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
