This full-time remote position involves providing vital mental health services within a school setting, where you will play a crucial role in the therapeutic support and development of students. The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, in addition to a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs, strengths, and available resources.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate specific goals and evidence-based interventions designed to address the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams consisting of psychiatrists, school administrators, teachers, and other community resources to ensure holistic support for students.

• Provide crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, for students experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Document clinical interactions meticulously to comply with ethical and legal standards, maintaining accurate records that facilitate continuity of care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational programs, and support groups aimed at fostering community, understanding, and mental wellbeing among students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience various mental health issues, including anxiety, behavioral struggles, depression, and trauma-related disorders. You will work closely with populations of diverse backgrounds, ensuring that each therapeutic approach is tailored to respect their unique cultural and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active licensure in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services within a clinical or outpatient environment.
