Ice Rink: Winter Workshop Host (age 14+) We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Arts & Crafts extraordinaire to help us with our daily creative projects. This position will be in tandem with the Guest Services Team and is to coincide with the Ice Rink. This will be a short term event that will run from Saturday, November 22 2025 - Wednesday, January 1 2026. There are 2 shifts: 9:30am - 1:30pm & 1:30pm - 5:30pm OMSI's mission is to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning experiences, foster experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and stimulate informed action. Volunteers will be offering engaging, alternative activities within the same space as the ice rink. Access to this area is available to all guests, regardless of whether they have an ice rink ticket. These activities foster experimentation while subtly introducing concepts like symmetry and structure. Offering a welcoming environment that blends creative fun with underlying scientific principles. Volunteers will gain practical skills in engaging visitors at the ice rink, ensuring a welcoming and safe experience. Beyond the rink, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the mission of a science museum and to be surrounded by science learning and contribute to inspiring curiosity in our community. Opportunity Requirements: Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
