Work Environment

This position is exclusively an onsite role, where you will make home visits across the Woodbridge area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans tailored specifically to each patient's goals, using evidence-informed practices.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to ensure the treatment is responsive to their evolving needs.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists, and physicians to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about recovery processes, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications that contribute to long-term success.
• Achieve minimum productivity goals while maintaining high standards of patient satisfaction and clinical effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a diverse patient base, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
