Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients in Santa Clarita, California, and beyond. Our telehealth platform leverages technology to deliver high-quality mental health services, ensuring that you can effectively support your clients through virtual channels. With a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you may need some flexibility to meet the varying needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma experiences and collaboratively identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on advancing trauma recovery and building patient resilience through tailored interventions.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate supportive spaces for patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies through our telehealth platform.
\n
• Offer educational resources to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to support their healing process.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care techniques.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with diverse individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related trauma disorders. Our practice emphasizes forming a therapeutic alliance to provide a safe space for patients to share their experiences, work through their trauma, and seek effective pathways to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is essential.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques are necessary.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions is crucial for this role.

• Proven interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team is imperative.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of post-licensure experience, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused interventions and innovative therapeutic techniques will be highly favored. Knowledge of current best practices in trauma therapy will also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
