Coastal Light Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional mental health services remotely. Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to facilitate therapy sessions. You will have the flexibility to operate from your own home while maintaining a structured work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While we strive to accommodate your preferred schedule, some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of our diverse patient base efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to gather valuable information about patients’ backgrounds, needs, and barriers to care.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with individual cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to promote emotional resilience and mental well-being.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment modalities, and available community support resources.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating new insights into your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic practices, coupled with the capacity to apply culturally competent approaches in therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group therapy sessions that respect and include varied cultural perspectives.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with an ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for establishing rapport with a diverse range of clients and families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a reliable understanding of related computer applications.

• A strong commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and interpersonal boundaries.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing team dynamics and fostering communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
