Work Environment

Our Boca Grande facility is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center where you will work onsite, collaborating closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical condition of patients referred by physicians and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to enhance functional mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed, ensuring adherence to prescribed protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and self-management strategies to facilitate recovery.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to enhance coordinated care and maximize patient recovery outcomes.
• Record and maintain accurate patient documentation in alignment with state regulations and facility policies.
• Exhibit outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with all clients and stakeholders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Envisage, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals regain their functionality and improve their quality of life, implementing specialized techniques tailored to their unique needs. Building authentic relationships with patients will be fundamental in achieving treatment goals and fostering trust in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of relevant experience in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of all patients.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in computer applications related to patient management and documentation.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their personal goals.
• A positive, engaging demeanor that reflects a genuine desire to connect with and help individuals in need.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional specialization in fields such as manual therapy, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation will be given preferred consideration. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms are also advantageous.
