Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs upon arrival into the home care environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities including exercise, manual therapy, and the use of assistive devices.
• Document each patient's progress meticulously, tracking outcomes, and making adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Provide education and training to patients and families on therapy techniques and the proper use of mobility aids to promote independence.
• Keep current with advances in physical therapy practices through attendance at workshops and professional communities.
• Maintain all necessary licensure and continuing education requirements in compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other clinical documentation tools.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible approach tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a home care setting.
• Experience with applying evidence-based practices and methodologies in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust paycheck, we provide an extensive benefits package:
