Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to evaluate and diagnose clients' mental health conditions, creating a strong foundation for personalized care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with alternative methods tailored to client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with best practices and legal requirements.

• Facilitate a mix of in-person and telehealth counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health treatments and integrate innovative approaches into your therapeutic practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with cancer patients and their families throughout varied phases of their treatment journey. This includes delivering support during diagnosis, managing active illness, navigating recurrences, coping with end-of-life issues, and celebrating survivorship. By composing personalized treatment strategies, you will help alleviate emotional distress and encourage adaptation and resilience among clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current respective state licenses (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) are essential per state regulations.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
