Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Renewed Life, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, and families, to identify needs and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on the assessment results, including evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Facilitating ongoing therapy sessions both via telehealth technologies and in-person, depending on client needs and preferences, while maintaining flexibility in your scheduling.

• Engaging in continuous documentation and communication with the interdisciplinary team to share updates on client progress and make necessary adjustments to their care plan.

• Providing case management services, coordinating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure holistic support for clients.
\n
• Attending regular staff meetings and patient rounds to discuss cases and collaborate with peers to enhance client outcomes.

• Upholding ethical standards and timely completion of documentation as mandated by state and agency regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a wide-ranging demographic that includes individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. Your role as a counselor will involve working with clients dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
\n
• A commitment to providing ethical and compassionate care that respects the dignity and autonomy of all clients.

• Willingness to work flexible hours between 10 to 40 sessions each week, accommodating the diverse needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with a broader range of experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and case management will be highly regarded. Experience with diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth practices are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
