Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools, and engaging in active listening to understand their unique circumstances.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions through evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), accommodating the varying dynamics of individual, couple, and family sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on mothers experiencing postpartum mental health issues, including but not limited to postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. The work requires a sensitive approach to understanding the multifaceted nature of their situations, as well as the familial and social structures that impact their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of direct therapy experience, demonstrating a commitment to mental health practice, particularly in maternal or family-focused areas.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with clients empathetically while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records to facilitate therapy sessions and documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n
