Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder for each client.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual client contexts.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, addressing treatment options and self-care strategies to enhance understanding of mood disorders.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment cycle, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on evidence and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed of current literature and practices in the field of mental health and mood disorder treatment, integrating insights into practice.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse clientele facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients vary in background and experience; hence, a deep understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity is critical in forging effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment models such as CBT and DBT, with proven efficacy in addressing mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and medical professionals for integrated patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
