Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders symptoms, understanding their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique experiences, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support client recovery and resilience.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care practices to foster empowerment.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to create a well-rounded treatment plan that considers both therapeutic and medical needs.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the field of mental health to continually enhance your practice and benefit client care.

• Maintain diligent and confidential records of all client interactions in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, requiring a tailored and empathetic approach that respects their unique backgrounds and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, for treating mood disorders.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers in managing client care.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
