This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to effectively manage your schedule while delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic support and counseling to patients grappling with mental health issues, using evidence-based practices tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Act as a crucial advocate by assisting clients in navigating and accessing community resources, social services, and support networks to bolster their emotional and psychological health.

• Conduct crisis intervention sessions and immediate support as needed, ensuring client safety and welfare is prioritized.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to all ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Engage in regular collaboration with fellow healthcare providers to ensure cohesive, patient-driven treatment plans that meet the complex needs of clients.

• Educate clients on effective coping strategies, self-care techniques, and communication skills to empower them in their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals at various stages of life who are dealing with terminal illnesses and the psychological distress that may accompany such transitions. You will play a vital role in supporting not just the patients but also their families, helping them navigate the challenges surrounding hospice care and end-of-life issues.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of New Jersey.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field; a Master's degree (MSW) is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health, particularly within outpatient or hospice settings.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and team members.

• Commitment to ethical, confidential practices in all aspects of care delivery.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
