Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Trench Legal is building an AI-powered case preparation platform that helps personal injury law firms move faster, reduce errors, and win more.

We’re hiring our first SDR to work directly with the founder and build our go-to-market motion from the ground up. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to make calls, create pipeline, talk with customers, and help determine how an early-stage company goes to market.

What you’ll do

- Build and manage targeted prospect lists of law firms

- Make high-volume outbound calls and run personalized email and LinkedIn outreach

- Qualify prospects, understand their workflows, and schedule product demonstrations

- Work closely with the founder on messaging, positioning, scripts, and sales strategy

- Test new channels and turn what works into a repeatable outbound playbook

- Track activity, conversations, objections, and pipeline in our CRM

- Share market feedback that directly influences our product and go-to-market strategy

- Help establish the processes and tools future sales hires will use

What we’re looking for

- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with prospective customers

- A willingness to pick up the phone, learn quickly, and iterate

- High ownership, discipline, and comfort working without an established playbook

- Curiosity about customers and the problems they face

- The ability to turn feedback and objections into better messaging

- Experience in outbound sales, legal technology, SaaS, or an early-stage startup is helpful, but not required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, communication or a related field
\n
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales development, preferably in SaaS companies
\n
• Prior work experience that demonstrates dependability, work ethic, and strong desire to succeed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n

• Base Salary: $60,000, OTE (90k) Uncapped Commission + equity
