Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new clients to identify their specific mental health needs and challenges related to maternal mental health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients' unique goals while utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or other relevant therapeutic frameworks to support clients through their emotional landscapes.

• Regularly evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment strategies in real-time based on their feedback and developments.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, contributing to the organization's commitment to high-quality care.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive support network for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be helping mothers during the challenging postpartum period, as well as supporting families who are affected by maternal mental health issues. This may include clients grappling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and related disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, including new mothers, couples, and entire families, recognizing the unique challenges posed by each situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or higher degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active state licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• A minimum of two years of direct, hands-on therapy experience in a relevant setting.

• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills and communication, effectively engaging with clients, families, and colleagues.

• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team structure.

• A strong grasp of evidence-based treatment methodologies tailored to maternal and family mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience specifically working with prenatal and postpartum populations, as well as those who demonstrate a history of community involvement and advocacy in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
