Work Environment

Your workplace will be a modern surgical center equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing dedicated care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, applying advanced diagnostic skills to determine effective treatment options.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care suited to their unique circumstances.
• Perform various procedures related to pain management—such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive interventions—within the designated surgical center.
• Collaborate with case management professionals to facilitate effective discharge planning, preparing patients for ongoing care and follow-up.
• Act as a vital link between referring physicians and patients by accepting referrals, providing consultations, and offering insight into hospitalization needs based on specific patient cases.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that meets insurance requirements, promptly addressing any appeals arising from denied claims to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, lending your expertise to on-call responsibilities when required to provide specialized care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with various pain syndromes, acute injuries, or chronic conditions impacting their daily lives. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• An active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within pain management or a related field.
• Outstanding communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in pain management, including familiarity with treatment modalities and ongoing patient education strategies.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
