Geriatric Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

As a therapist with Agile Life, you will work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, utilizing standardized assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver skilled therapy services, such as therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, to optimize patients' recovery and enhance their functional independence.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to create a holistic approach to patient care that addresses all aspects of health and wellbeing.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, home exercise regimens, and strategies for preventing injuries, ensuring they are equipped to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Implement effective fall prevention protocols and safety measures tailored to the assisted living and geriatric communities we serve, reducing the risk of accidents and promoting safe mobility.
• Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in physical therapy by engaging in continuing education, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, consistently delivering care that exemplifies professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current licensure in New Jersey as a Physical Therapist, with an active commitment to maintaining professional credentials.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) to efficiently document patient information and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Agile Life Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
