Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and tailor specific treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and resilience building.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, guiding patients through their healing process, helping them cultivate coping strategies, and fostering a supportive environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate integrated care for our patients, ensuring comprehensive treatment support.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms and provide them with access to valuable resources.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed practices to enhance care delivery.

• Continuously update your knowledge of emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse array of patients, primarily focusing on those affected by trauma. This includes individuals who have experienced severe emotional distress due to various life events. You will work closely with clients ranging from young adults to seniors, each bringing unique narratives that shape their therapy experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation of knowledge regarding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately with clients from all backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with various online therapeutic tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience working in mental health or trauma-focused settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
