Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, meticulously evaluating patients' trauma histories to inform treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, focusing on enhancing emotional resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide effective therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting patients as they process traumatic experiences and develop crucial coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for all our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support, including immediate response to trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and compassionate care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources, fostering a deeper understanding and support network.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights, enhance patient care, and engage in ongoing professional growth.

• Stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic modalities related to trauma therapy, applying new knowledge to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing the effects of trauma. Our patient population comprises individuals who have faced a range of traumatic events, leading to complex emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.

• Knowledgeable in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
