Work Environment

Located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, the work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients while fostering teamwork among staff. You'll work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including other physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical doctors, ensuring a seamless continuity of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' needs by recognizing and fulfilling their objectives, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour to provide focused, quality care tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to enhance the patients' range of motion and mobility through cost-effective therapies.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs to support each patient's journey toward improved physical capabilities.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, aiming to optimize functionality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, sharing insights and recommendations for holistic patient care.
• Accurately document all services provided and monitor patient progress through effective communication.
• Address patient care needs proactively, minimizing reliance on medications and advocating for non-surgical alternatives when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We provide tailored therapy solutions to meet the specific needs of each patient, focusing on restoring mobility, strength, and functionality. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping a broad spectrum of patients regain their independence and improve their overall health.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
• Adept in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, such as WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with patients and adapt therapeutic approaches to meet varying needs.
• Experience with innovative therapy techniques and willingness to stay abreast of industry developments.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
