Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to clients, tailoring techniques and interventions to meet their unique needs.

• Assist clients in developing life skills, including meal planning, shopping, and cooking, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.

• Ensure clients are compliant with their prescribed medications by providing reminders, assisting with refills, and monitoring adherence according to program guidelines.

• Facilitate transportation for clients to necessary appointments, using agency vehicles or public transport when appropriate.

• Organize and maintain necessary household supplies to ensure a supportive living environment for clients.
\n
• Supervise the delivery of services to guarantee adherence to best practices, thus promoting positive client outcomes and satisfaction.

• Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements, including licensure and program certifications, ensuring that services remain within legal parameters.

• Document client interactions and progress accurately and timely, maintaining meticulous records in accordance with agency standards.

• Act as a positive role model by presenting appropriate behavior and implementing safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work closely with a multicultural and diverse clientele, addressing various mental health issues. This role will be pivotal in providing services to adolescents and young adults, many of whom are navigating complex life challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, signifying advanced knowledge in mental health practices.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC; associate licenses are not acceptable for this role, as they are not billable through Medicare.

This rewarding position comes with a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually.
