Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience-building methodologies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to support clients in processing trauma and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic client care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related incidents, ensuring client safety and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and other legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to optimize treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.

• Continuously stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance practice effectiveness.

The focus population includes children, adolescents, and adults affected by trauma in various forms. Our clients often struggle with complex mental health issues stemming from traumatic experiences, necessitating a compassionate and skilled therapeutic approach. Your role will be crucial as you help them navigate their recovery journey, equipping them with the tools to manage their trauma and promote healthier future outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, evidenced by your education and experience.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a capacity for empathetic communication.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
