Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while still being an integral part of a team committed to trauma-informed care. Our outpatient office is specifically designed for comfort and openness, enabling both individual and group therapy. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility tailored to meet the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, thoroughly evaluating patients' trauma histories to tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans focused on promoting emotional healing, resilience, and overall mental health recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processing, coping strategy development, and healing techniques.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for affected patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to aid in the healing journey.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including timely updates in electronic health record systems.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest research in trauma-informed treatment practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach to care.

• The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness during high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
