Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and nurturing resilience in clients.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the specific needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processing, coping strategy development, and overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support clients grappling with trauma, particularly those affected by PTSD and complex trauma experiences. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing clinical mental health services is required.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver a variety of trauma-focused therapies.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on providing empathetic and non-judgmental care to patients.

• Able to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing support to clients in crisis.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
