Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive assessments of clients’ mental health concerns, leveraging proven assessment techniques to formulate clinical diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques, based on client needs.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies and safety planning to ensure client well-being.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results adhere to ethical and legal standards while respecting client confidentiality.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team by actively participating in staff meetings and case management discussions to develop comprehensive care approaches for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for clients' rights and needs as necessary.

• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated with best practices in mental health therapy, enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele at Radiant Spirit Counseling Center includes individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses, all seeking support for an array of mental health challenges. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. A key aspect of this role is understanding and addressing the diverse cultural factors that influence mental health and treatment responsiveness.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid mental health licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and experience in developing tailored treatment plans.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering empathetic and respectful care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to help you kickstart your journey with us.
