Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while still engaging with clients from various backgrounds. As part of our Community Health Clinic team, you will work within a framework that prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, both through virtual sessions and community outreach.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet shared goals, enhancing service delivery and client outcomes.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by engaging effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.
• Utilize professional ethical guidelines and organizational policies to inform decision-making and maintain a high standard of care.
• Conduct assessments and create tailored care plans to ensure clients have access to the necessary services that address their individual needs.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities, including brief interventions, prevention strategies, and recovery processes tailored to each client.
• Support clients during crises by intervening as needed and coordinating with other professionals to ensure safety and appropriate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of all necessary reports to comply with agency standards and legal requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and severe mental illness. Our clients come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and may have limited access to mental health resources. Your expertise will guide these individuals on a path toward recovery, focusing on empowerment, resilience, and sustainable strategies for well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Active LCSW licensure in the state of California is a must.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnosis, treatment planning, and assessment techniques tailored to diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in managing time effectively and prioritizing competing demands.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with other healthcare providers for integrated care.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred, enhancing your ability to connect with our diverse client base.
• Experience in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and assessment tools relevant to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
