This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while you engage with clients from the comfort of your own home. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, focusing on mood-related issues to establish their severity and impact.

• Collaborate with each client to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at meeting their unique goals and needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), providing structured support to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, offering them tools and strategies for self-care and coping.

• Monitor client progress closely, adapting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in case consultations and collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately, ensuring adherence to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings to continually enhance your skills and knowledge of mood disorders and therapeutic techniques.

• Act as an advocate for your clients by promoting understanding and support for mental health needs and reducing stigma around mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those with a history of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role will be pivotal in guiding patients towards recovery, enhancing their ability to manage symptoms, and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative care models.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, inclusive of performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus.
