Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a clinician, engaging directly with clients both in community settings and virtual environments, delivering therapeutic interventions that address mental health issues.

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, using evidence-based practices to diagnose and create individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on the unique challenges presented by each client’s background and health status.

• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with their needs and goals.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care strategies and improve service delivery.

• Provide crisis intervention services, helping clients navigate immediate mental health challenges in collaboration with emergency services when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, organizational standards, and legal requirements, fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing care to individuals dealing with severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses, predominantly within a hospice context. As such, you will interact with a diverse range of clients, including those navigating end-of-life issues, and provide them with empathetic support and appropriate resources to aid in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Illinois license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
