Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. As a mental health therapist at Nexus, you will leverage technology to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, allowing you to reach patients in need across various locations. Our team operates primarily during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients’ histories and customize treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, resilience, and self-efficacy.

• Facilitate various therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet the needs of each patient.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a space where trauma recovery and emotional expression are prioritized.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
