Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing therapists to conduct sessions via telehealth platforms. Our telehealth facility is equipped with advanced technology to facilitate effective virtual consultations and create a comfortable space for our patients. The therapist will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building activities tailored to each patient's needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies when necessary, providing immediate support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducation to patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, helping them to navigate their healing journey more effectively.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development efforts and team consultations focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and emerging best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on adult individuals who have experienced significant trauma. Our client base includes survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, natural disasters, and chronic illness. Therapists will work closely with patients to help them process experiences that impact their mental health, facilitating recovery and fostering resilience through personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with various trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and therapeutic skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset, enabling effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions are ideal.

• Demonstrated competence in crisis intervention and effective communication strategies.

• Experience in digital health systems and teletherapy platforms is an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
