Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging with a collaborative and supportive team of professionals. However, our outpatient office will serve as a base for team meetings and group sessions. Our practice adheres to a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' immediate and long-term needs, ensuring that inclusive treatment plans are developed.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to promote community engagement and address common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to provide integrated care and enhance treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention and supportive services during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing a diverse array of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse concerns. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New York State.
