Work Environment\n

This is a remote position tailored to accommodate the needs of both the counselor and the patients. While the majority of your work will be performed from the comfort of your own space, you will remain connected with a collaborative team that champions communication and mutual support. The role requires a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to address patient needs or accommodate special cases when required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments that accurately identify patient needs and guide the formulation of tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy—effectively addressing individual, couple, and family dynamics.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community engagement and offering resources for coping with common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring patients receive immediate support in times of mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and directing them to relevant community resources for additional assistance.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards aimed at safeguarding patient information.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance skills and share knowledge with fellow counselors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and age groups. The goal is to provide holistic and culturally competent care that addresses the unique challenges faced by each patient. Counselors will work closely with patients experiencing high levels of distress due to mental health disorders or situational stressors requiring immediate intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and local resources is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
